What is Sim Precision?

Sim Precision allows you to control the number of simulations run in the Contest Simulator, directly affecting the accuracy and reliability of the results. Adjusting Sim Precision determines how detailed and refined the range of outcomes will be for your DFS lineups.

How It Works:

Higher Sim Precision (# of simulations):

Narrower Range of Outcomes: With more simulations, the results become more precise, providing a clearer picture of the most likely outcomes.

Example: At Sim Precision 10, the contest is simulated hundreds of thousands of times, offering highly detailed insights and minimizing the impact of outlier performances.

Lower Sim Precision (# of simulations):

Wider Range of Outcomes: Fewer simulations result in a broader range of outcomes, allowing for more variability and increasing the likelihood of unexpected, outlier performances.

Example: At Sim Precision 1, the contest is simulated 1,000 times, giving a broader but less precise understanding of potential outcomes.

Sim Precision 1 starts at 1,000 simulations, while Sim Precision 10 can reach 200,000 simulations, allowing you to choose the level of detail and accuracy you want when analyzing lineup performance.
