Min. and Max. Exp.

What is does Min. Exp. and Max. Exp. mean in the DFS Hero Lineup Optimizer?

In DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports), exposure refers to the percentage of lineups in which a specific player appears when generating multiple lineups. Managing exposure allows you to control how often certain players are included across your lineups, helping you balance risk and diversification.

Min. and Max. Exp.:

Min. Exp. (Minimum Exposure):

Definition: The minimum percentage of lineups that a player will appear in. For example, if you want LeBron James in at least 50% of your lineups, you would set his Min. Exp. to 50%.

Max. Exp. (Maximum Exposure):

Definition: The maximum percentage of lineups that a player can appear in. For instance, if you only want Joe Burrow in 10% of your lineups, you would set his Max. Exp. to 10%.

How to Adjust Exposure:

Individually: Set exposure for each player by adjusting their Min. or Max. Exp. directly in the lineup generator.

In Bulk: Adjust exposures for multiple players at once by clicking the edit pencil icon or by navigating to Optimizer Settings > Exposures & Randomness.

Using Min. and Max. Exp. gives you precise control over how often each player appears in your lineups, allowing you to create a well-rounded strategy that aligns with your risk tolerance and contest goals.
