OwnLev

What is OwnLev and OwnLevRnk ?

OwnLev, or Ownership Leverage, is a metric that quantifies the difference between a player’s projected ownership percentage and the optimal ownership percentage as determined by simulations. It helps identify whether a player is over- or under-owned relative to what would be optimal for maximizing lineup performance.

How It Works:

Positive OwnLev: Indicates that the player is under-owned, meaning their actual ownership is lower than what simulations suggest is optimal. This could present an opportunity to gain an edge by including the player in your lineup.

Negative OwnLev: Indicates that the player is over-owned, meaning their actual ownership exceeds the optimal percentage suggested by simulations. This could signal that the player may be overvalued and pose a risk of reduced return relative to the field.

Why It Matters:

OwnLev helps you make more strategic decisions by identifying players who offer the best leverage in terms of ownership. By understanding whether a player is under- or over-owned, you can optimize your lineup to maximize potential returns and differentiate yourself from the competition.
